To observe the Australian Privacy Act 2001 we cannot accept entries for living people unless they are the submitter. This means that births and baptism after 1910, confirmations after 1920, and all other events after 1930 (except those associated with a death) will not be accepted unless the submitter's name matches the stray's name.

Source should specify where the record can be found. It should be detailed enough to allow anyone to locate it. Eg: VIC Pioneers Index 1883 #2307.
The source place should detail the location of the source. Eg: PRO of VIC etc. If the source is a publication and it is clear from the previous field how to locate it, then simply enter - \
The material above should relate to the reference you have located that suggests the person is a stray.
The material below references the place of origin or expected place.
The expected place should differ from the place of the reported event. It should be the place you would expect to find a record of the person. For example a person growing up and living all their life in Adelaide SA may have married in Melbourne VIC. The strays entry would record the marriage as a stray.
